Fountain with Putto

This putto is part of a fountain located in the garden just in front of the entrance of the Porcelain museum. He seems to play with a fish from which the water flows, while with his hand he caresses his hair taking a gracious stand.
The figure of the putto, an icon known since ancient times, is presented from another point of view by Rauchenberger: instead of being used in allegorical representations or for purely decorative purposes, the nude chubby child figure becomes the protagonist of the work.
Digital photography and use of colour filters to exalt the pink, the green, the yellow and the orange of this gracious and playful putto.
